Blest be the tie that binds
BLEST BE THE TIE THAT BINDS
I'm sure we all have one time or the other visited friends, uncles and aunties to spend holidays. No matter how close you are to them, there will still be a little restriction to what you do. by the time you eventually get home, you discover that soaking garri in your house is better than the sumptuous meal anywhere else. this is to tell you that family love and togetherness is irreplacable.
The bond between mothers and daughters especially when you are matured, you become her gist partner, the laughter and sometimes the getting angry at her every day corrections on your dressing, the ankoos you share with your mum, times when you struggle to tie her gele and shes too impatient to sit still, you eventually had to tie it like turban, her singing in the kitchen very early in the morning while you are still sleeping making you to eventually get up from your bed and join her because your sleep has been truncated, her constant corrections and daily scoldings will not reduce the joy you feel anytime you are travelling home. all these make the home a place to look forward to and strengthens the love. Now when christ is added to this kind of family, then the love and joy is unmeasurable.
In conclusion, as you plan your family, dont leave Jesus out because he is the centre of it all.he is the binding cord that binds the family together.
