I syndrome

THE ‘I’ SYNDROME
I was touched by this during yesterday’s ministration. The ‘I’ syndrome is much more deadly than the AID syndrome. It is the ‘behind the scene’ of all acts. It is the cause of most problems we face today in the world. You would be wondering what the ‘I’ syndrome is. For the best understanding of this syndrome, I would be giving some instances through which the syndrome occurs.
When I see your cloth, and I develop an obsession for what you are wearing until I eventually assist you in picking it from where it is spread and forcefully make it mine. Ole niyen o. but it all started with my desire to have it... ‘I’
All our actions on earth is guided by either ‘God’ or the ‘I’ syndrome. When the action is guided by God and the desire to please him, then it is right before him. 1sam2:3 ‘talk no more so exceedingly proudly; let not arrogant come out of your mouth: for the Lord God is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed’
When the action is guided by the ‘I’ syndrome, then our actions are for the purpose of pleasing the self, gratifying the flesh and fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. We dress only for people to acknowledge our dressing and not to show forth Gods glory. We sing to show forth our voices and not to touch lives with our songs. We correct, criticize, pass judgments on other people, not because there is the genuine desire to make changes but because we are more interested in seeing someone cringe under our correction.
No wonder SIN, PRIDE, LIE has ‘I’ seated majestically in the middle.
I pray God help us to always put a check on all our actions and weigh them with God before carrying them out.
